Olympics!!!!

Hi!!!
OK is anyone planning to watch the Olympics?
I am! I mean, it only happens like once in every 2 years, so it's a big deal! The winter Olympics are OK, but personally I prefer the summer ones. I don't know why. I think most people like the summer ones best! It's a bigger deal! I like the riding, and the swimming, and the diving and the gymnastics.... mostly everything!
Anyways,
I'm off to do some research on this to find out when it starts, what sports there are... stuff like that!
So if you have a TV, or access to the Internet, (I'm SURE you can watch the Olympics online somewhere, and if you can't find it look on you tube!) then I would suggest you check it!
If you miss it...
You will have to wait another 4 years before you will see it again!
I think it's in Japan this year... But I'm not certain!

Fears

Nudge found a site about all the different types of fears you can have. I picked my favorites. Check them out.

Namatophobia -Fear of names. So do you have no name or what? Is everyone 'the with the red hair??'
Nostophobia - Fear of returning home Can you never leave?
Optophobia - Fear of opening one's eyes. I feel for all the people with this one. What a life. I guess you must get a lot of sleep, though.
Phonophobia - Fear of noises or voices or one's own voice; of telephones. I could never live with this one. I talk too much.
Sesquipedalophobia - Fear of long words Isn't that funny! That's one of the longest words I've seen in a while!
Zemmiphobia - Fear of the great mole rat. I never knew there was a Great Mole Rat Apparently, it's a fairly common fear.
Vestiphobia - Fear of clothing That one's odd. What do you wear??
Hedonophobia - Fear of feeling pleasure Imagine denying yourself everything that you would like, because you're scared of it. What's the point of living then?
I wonder if there is a fear of Hedonophobia???
Geliophobia - Fear of laughter This one's sad too. How could you live with no laughter? The flock makes me laugh all the time! Except when they make me mad. Which actually happens about as often as they make me laugh.

Stop, drop, and roll

Hey,
Did anyone hear about all those forest fires in N.S? They have to evacuate thousands of people, and anyone who won't go gets arrested. Isn't that crazy?
It's a choice between leaving your house to burn and getting arrested because you want to stay with your pets\house\whatever you want to stay with!

Do you really think it's for their own good? I'd want to choice to stay or go. But I'm known for wanting a say in everything. Right Nudge?? On second thought, don't answer that!

Anyway, if anyone was planning a vacation in N.S. sometime soon, I recommend that you stay at home. You won't be able to see much in some places. Plus, 3 highways are closed. You won't be able to get anywhere. And you might get arrested for trying!
